The Challenge
Everything has been sampled, but it’s what you do to manipulate it that makes it yours. Create a fictional band and campaign for their album through sampling and remixing old records.
The Solution
The fictional band should only be a homage to these sampled bands. The identity should be similar, but the band and artwork needs to be new, and unique.
The Merchandise
The imagery of 3dog’s new album, Night Soldier, is gritty, grunge, and expressive. I wanted the merchandise to reflect this. These include a large all over print hoodie, butterfly patch, and a tote bag.
The Marketing Content
Album releases are more hype with their accompanying tour announcement and singles. Tour posters will be pasted in public areas, and the digital single includes a video for short form content.
